The Medirek Academy offers both a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and a 3 Day First Aid At Work (FAW) course, which can be delivered for up to 24 candidates at your premises.

Regulated by Qualsafe, our offered suite of first aid training qualifications are widely recognised by a variety of bodies and are Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved first aid courses.

All of our training staff are active emergency care staff, including paramedics, ambulance technicians and doctors, and this offers you a vast array of experience and ability that you can draw on, both at the time of training, and ongoing after you complete your first aid course.

Our First Aid Courses:

Emergency First Aid at Work (1-Day): This course is ideal for smaller businesses and those with lower risk workplaces. It covers essential life-saving skills, including CPR, dealing with bleeding, choking, and burns and the use of an AED.
First Aid at Work (3-Day): This comprehensive course is designed for larger businesses and those with higher risk workplaces. It covers a wider range of topics, including managing fractures, dislocations, head injuries, and medical conditions. Some larger employers like to split their first aid team with some more senior members of the team holding this more enhanced 3 day first aid qualification.
