• One Off Shoots – We can provide you with set medics to provide first aid and welfare services on a one off shoot that may only last a day, or a couple of days whether it be a TV shoot, corporate media production or commercial.
• Production Cover – If you need our film medics to cover the entire duration of your film production, we can provide varied staffing to ensure total cover, in line with any inherent and changing risks associated with your shoot.
• TV Studio Cover – Whether it’s long or short term, we can provide you a TV Medic tailored to the need of your cast, crew and even audience to embed themselves in the operation and become part of the team.
• Rigging/Build Cover – There is no doubt that the rigging and build stage of a production presents a very real risk of sometimes serious injury, especially when this is paired with remote or difficult locations. We can ensure you have medics on site for the entire duration of your build and rigging to ensure utmost safety.
• Stunt Cover & Stunt Paramedics – When you intend to undertake activities involving high risk stunts, we can ensure that all medical bases are covered by providing medics or paramedics to cater for if the worst might happen. We’ll work closely with your stunt co-ordinator(s) to ensure that the medical risk and risk of harm is fully understood so that we can ensure the proper level of medical cover is provided. Furthermore, we can staff additional personnel with rescue specific qualifications, such as water rescue, to ensure that the stunt participants can be recovered to receive medical care.
• Water risk and maritime shoots – We can provide medical staff, alongside adequate rescue staffing to ensure that you water based shoot can take place safely with best film medical cover for your situation.
• Motorsport & Action Vehicles – If your film or TV production involves the application of cars, motorbikes or trucks undertaking high speed activities or motorsport style activities, we can source and provide professional and well equipped medics to be able to respond to any incident and render effective first aid to any patients.
• Remote or Specialist locations – We’re specialists in providing care in remote or more ‘specialist; locations. So if you production needs medical cover halfway up a mountain, or in a dusty desert, we can help. We can provide the perfect blend of staffing and equipment such as paramedics paired with nurses and even doctors to ensure that in the event of injury, the patient can receive high quality and definitive care, or be stabilised effectively until transfer to more suitable care elsewhere.
• 4×4 Capable – To add to our capabilities in remote or specialist locations, we can also offer 4×4 equipped vehicles so that our set medics can serve a variety of film locations, even if it’s a muddy field in Berkshire rather than the Cairngorms.

We also offer health and safety consultancy, a pedigree that feeds into our set medic service for film and TV too. We approach every new engagement with safety in mind first and foremost and look to understand the exact requirements and risks of your production so that we can specify a bespoke level of coverage that will meet the productions medical needs.

However, we also understand that providing set medics & film medical services is as much about cast and crew welfare as it is tending to injury. As such, our film medics are on hand to deal with minor ailments that may occur during shooting in order to reduce lost time, and ensure the cast and crew’s utmost comfort during the production. We also look to identify any cast and crew with specific medical needs or ailments during the planning process and when we first get on set/location so that we can cater to their specific needs also and help you ensure a smooth and efficient TV/Film Production.

When it comes to traumatic injuries, while they should hopefully be rare, you can be sure that our set medics will be equipped with a range of trauma equipment to allow them to to respond to the incident and give effective aid to the patient, preserving their life. Just because a set medic is on a film set, doesn’t mean that our high standards don’t still apply, and our staff have access to equipment akin to that found on front line emergency ambulances. Moreover, they are trained and equipped to provide rapid and concise handover to statutory ambulance services where required also.

Location Film Medical Services Pricing Structure:

We operate on the general basis of a “10+1” day which is a fixed price, but due to the nature of our role, all of our staff are paid for the full 11 hours. In cases where you would like our services further afield of our ‘core areas’ as listed above, then the price will simply be our fixed day rate with mileage or accommodation/board expenses added.

We offer a reduction in daily rate for productions where we are engaged for over 5 days of work!
